Between crossing fields, forest trails, small country roads and dizzying Himalayan footbridges, there is something for all tastes and all levels.

Would you like to take advantage of your holiday to discover the lake’s surroundings by mountain bike at your own pace? Or simply enjoy a nature outing with your family?

At Lake Monteynard, you can! Thanks to the diversity of the trails, you don’t need to be an expert cyclist to discover the 1001 beauties offered by the surrounding environment. Choose between a ‘family’ route around the lake or a ‘discovery’ route along forest paths and trails.

Those who are less athletic can equip themselves with electric mountain bikes and enjoy the excursion without worrying about getting tired. 37 mountain bike circuits await you, with 550 km of trails for all levels. Don’t have a mountain bike? No problem. Rent your electric mountain bike directly at the campsite. If you prefer road bikes, there are 9 loops to choose from.

Cycling routes around the campsite

Lake Monteynard also offers numerous routes for sports enthusiasts! Designed for experienced mountain bikers, they will satisfy their thirst for adventure and challenge. Between mountain trails, forest descents, mountain passes to cross, passages of varying difficulty, not to mention the Himalayan footbridges of the Drac and Ebron (located between 45 and 80 metres high), there is something for everyone to enjoy, with thrills and excitement guaranteed. Enthusiasts will appreciate these routes where pushing oneself to the limit is the order of the day in order to reach the magnificent panoramas opening onto the lake and the surrounding peaks.
