The architectural heritage is also exceptional. There are many towns to visit. If you are passing through Trièves, and you like cities, don’t forget to visit Grenoble. A region steeped in history and innovation, just 30 minutes from the campsite.

Art: enjoy its museums and admire Rubens’ painting Saint Gregory in the rooms of the Grenoble Museum. Take to the skies with the cable car’s ‘bubbles’. Enjoy the latest escape games and other adventures to share with friends or family.

For local souvenirs full of flavour, we suggest you take a detour to the local cheese dairies, charcuteries and breweries! You will find the following addresses near the Plage campsite:

  • La Ferme de Pied Rond in Treffort (3 km): the farm raises pigs in the open air and offers local meat.
  • La Ferme de Maubleu in Sinard (7 km): this farm sells a variety of local food products.

In Monestier-de-Clermont (11.5 km), you will find the small shop L’Atelier du Pré Long, which sells eco-friendly, upcycled accessories (made from recycled fabrics), as well as the A.N.G céramiques shop, which sells contemporary, colourful porcelain items.
